Albendazole is an anthelmintic or anti- worm medication. It prevents newly hatched insect larvae (worms) from growing or multiplying in your body. Albendazole is used to treat certain infections caused by worms such as pork tapeworm and dog tapeworm.  Albendazole is especially formulated in editble tablets when taking with animal feeds or water drink or directly into mouth as a broad spectrum anthelmintic for use against gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms,tapeworms and trematodes in cattle, sheep and goats.
